In the 10th minute, Osvaldinho de Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borussia Dortmund MZB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Isak Holmvik came free, but Michel Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isak Holmvik kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Liu Zhi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Håvard Levang was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund MZB's Murilo Palmeira got a free kick in the 20th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Michel Neuer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Osvaldinho de Senna scored 0-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Håvard Levang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michel Neuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isak Holmvik in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Borussia Dortmund MZB booed when FRANK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isak Holmvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Håvard Levang came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Borussia Dortmund MZB's He Xiao Ao. But to his dismay, He Xiao Ao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 38 minutes of play, Borussia Dortmund MZB's He Xiao Ao made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Håvard Levang was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute, Sune Bergdal made a precise shot to the right of Håvard Levang. FRANK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. After 44 played minutes FRANK got a freekick which was hit by Runar Selle. After a defensive mix-up in FRANK's zone, Sune Bergdal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håvard Levang came out of the goal and Sune Bergdal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute Liu Zhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håvard Levang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute Isak Holmvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Neuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Øyvind Martinsen was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ronaldão Jaafari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geir Mørk in the 53rd minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalkeeper Michel Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sune Bergdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Isak Holmvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Neuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FRANK's Håvard Levang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save FRANK from getting a goal against them. Sune Bergdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Håvard Levang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Borussia Dortmund MZB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sune Bergdal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liu Zhi in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Håvard Levang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liu Zhi in the 87th minute of play forced FRANK's goalkeeper Håvard Levang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Neuer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Øyvind Martinsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The FRANK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Borussia Dortmund MZB were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
