The referee ignored Circus BAF's protests and gave Christopher Rutgeerts a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Circus BAF getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Christopher Rutgeerts hit a great ball. When Murilo Maranhense fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borussia Dortmund MZB's protests and gave Murilo Maranhense a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Murilo Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Circus BAF's Bin Bai got a free kick in the 21st minute. Amador Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liu Zhi, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Martínez Gullotta came free, but Michel Neuer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lautaro Martínez Gullotta made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Circus BAF got a corner. Borussia Dortmund MZB's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bin Bai ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Circus BAF's Abdel Masoud Ghannouchi got a free kick in the 55th minute. Abdel Masoud Ghannouchi stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Borussia Dortmund MZB's defenders and the ball went out. Circus BAF appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Michel Neuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kobe Mesmaeckers in the 62nd minute of play. Michel Neuer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kobe Mesmaeckers's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Michel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kobe Mesmaeckers in the 64th minute of the match. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Liu Zhi managed to work through Circus BAF's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Liu Zhi dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Michel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronald Van Achteren in the 82nd minute of the match. Jorden Van der Hoeven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Neuer having to interfere. Ronald Van Achteren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Michel Neuer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Borussia Dortmund MZB's Sune Bergdal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amador Paublo. That made the score 3-2 after 92 minutes of play. Circus BAF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
