Damian Jordy lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Andrzej Zapolski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cornelio Villegas having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Zapolski in the 26th minute of play forced Cavaliers FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Villegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Cavaliers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Zapolski came free, but Cornelio Villegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cavaliers FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Villegas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cavaliers FC's zone, Andrzej Zapolski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornelio Villegas came out of the goal and Andrzej Zapolski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Villa in the 54th minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Andrzej Zapolski made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Villegas was left in no man's land by his defense there! DREAM TEAM WORLD's Koča Kafarov was substituted for Andrzej Zapolski. In the 62nd minute Koča Kafarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Villegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Koča Kafarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastián Villa in the 65th minute of play forced DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Lu Zhen Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Cavaliers FC defense, Koča Kafarov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cornelio Villegas. The Cavaliers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cornelio Villegas should have stopped the shot. Cavaliers FC made a substitution. Marcos Arano replaced Sebastián Villa. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Paulo Jon replaced Elpidio Curcio. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Zachariasz Psotka was substituted for Héctor Adomaitis. After 72 played minutes DREAM TEAM WORLD got a freekick which was hit by Betinho de Queirós. In the 73rd minute of the match Marcos Monsanto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lu Zhen Sheng skillfully saved the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Cornelio Villegas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koča Kafarov in the 78th minute of play forced Cavaliers FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Villegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lu Zhen Sheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Sandalio, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The supporters of DREAM TEAM WORLD booed when Cavaliers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Feliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lu Zhen Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Monsanto in the 90th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Osvaldo Koldo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the final whistle sounded DREAM TEAM WORLD left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cavaliers FC.
