In the 10thth minute of the game Carlo Darrigrande who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argentina's Lev Yashin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Argentina's goalkeeper Lev Yashin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlo Darrigrande. Carlo Darrigrandes short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Lev Yashin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 22nd match minute, Argentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Santana to maneuver through the defense. Gora Dam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lev Yashin having to interfere. Jordi Carces kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Argentina's Samuel Jobo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Layton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Roberto Layton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Naelio in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Carlo Darrigrande managed to get in a good position for a shot. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s supporters rose to their feet, but Carlo Darrigrande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lev Yashin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute Benedicto Naelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Layton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Naelio was the one to do the kick off. Roberto Layton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Durazno in the 84th minute of the match. Peter Swan might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lev Yashin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Swan ran back to his position shaking his head. Lev Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Swan, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Roberto Layton was a little too slow when Amado Arotza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-1. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Argentina walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
