Intxixu Huarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torstein Stenseth having to interfere. Torstein Stenseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Intxixu Huarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Ksawery Furgal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torstein Stenseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Peña in the 51st minute of play. Enrique Peña came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Torstein Stenseth could save by the left post. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Torstein Stenseth, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Socavon FC made a substitution. Artal Baltanas replaced Enrique Peña. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Corinthians FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fehmi Erdemer was slow to take the kick. During this time Socavon FC's players had a chance to rest. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sindo Porregimon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ksawery Furgal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torstein Stenseth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Socavon FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
