In the 27th minute Rodrigo Ferdinand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Martínez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Tirso in the 29th minute of the match. Stein Geest kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Tobias Osoro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martins Palermo went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Fecha Libre's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Nicolas Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Emiliano Martínez, making the score, 2-3. Nicolas Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Emiliano Martínez made a huge save. 68 minutes into the match, Fecha Libre's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Ferdinand came free, but Emiliano Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fecha Libre:s Emiliano Martínez showed great skill when he stopped Osvaldo Ostargi:s penalty. The audience was convinced that Kamiel Stessel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Osoro was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Rodrigo Ferdinand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Boquenses played a much better game than Fecha Libre and deserved their victory. The Fecha Libre players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
