Emiliano Martínez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Llwydeu Crowther. In the 31st minute, Martins Palermo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Siawn Bartells was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Siawn Bartells came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Fecha Libre's Martins Palermo. But to his dismay, Martins Palermo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. If Martins Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martins Palermo in the 38th minute of play forced inter Cardiff's goalkeeper Siawn Bartells to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
