The supporters of Hyblae FC booed when CAM Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Gelmiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Hyblae FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Idacio came free, but Corrado Contestabile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferruccio Festuccia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Martin Theodore made a huge save. 30 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Idacio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Corrado Contestabile. After the first half CAM Football Club were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo Idacio was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Ferruccio Festuccia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Theodore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the game, CAM Football Club's Arnaldo Idacio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corrado Contestabile made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. The Hyblae FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corrado Contestabile should have stopped the shot. CAM Football Club's Teofilo Kelemen was substituted for Arnaldo Idacio. Corrado Contestabile was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Santiago Bartoli fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CAM Football Club's protests and gave Santiago Bartoli a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in CAM Football Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty!
