Corrado Contestabile was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 13 minutes into the match, Lionel Ronaldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Corrado Contestabile. Hyblae FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lionel Ronaldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 19th minute Ferruccio Festuccia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bassam Wahbi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hyblae FC's Corrado Contestabile proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Hyblae FC from getting a goal against them. Hyblae FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andrea Pasciu in the 28th minute. A nice corner shot did that Andrea Pasciu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bassam Wahbi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 29th minute, Jos Decremer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Lionel Ronaldo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Corrado Contestabile. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 37th minute, U Alcaravaneras's Gaizkine Escobar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Corrado Contestabile. Corrado Contestabile yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. After 42 played minutes U Alcaravaneras got a freekick which was hit by Lionel Ronaldo. Bassam Wahbi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Giancola, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferruccio Festuccia was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, U Alcaravaneras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pan Yan Yu to maneuver through the defense. Bassam Wahbi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Pasciu in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceandro Castillo in the 77th minute of play forced Hyblae FC's goalkeeper Corrado Contestabile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corrado Contestabile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceandro Castillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lionel Ronaldo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Corrado Contestabile. Hyblae FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
