The audience was convinced that Torrey Molloy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kauan Fantini was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 17th minute Codruț Domuță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kauan Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kauan Fantini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Codruț Domuță succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-13 in the 72nd playminute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renato Portalupi got free with Kauan Fantini in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Codruț Domuță managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brujas KV's supporters rose to their feet, but Codruț Domuță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kauan Fantini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Conrado Romero struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Kauan Fantini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brujas KV. Kauan Fantini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renato Portalupi in the 95th minute. Martin Mundo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kauan Fantini came out and tried to block the shot, but Martin Mundo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-16 in the 96th minute.
