The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Ozon Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asım Suat to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Ozon Fc's Edvin Skålberg got control of the ball when Reinaldo Briceño tried to sneak it across the goal line. Asım Suat struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Ralondo Barboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ozon Fc. Mehmet Efe Bedük kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When Asım Suat came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Ozon Fc fans jumped to their feet. Edvin Skålberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Hamrin in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuddusî Erdemli in the 27th minute of play forced AFC Viola Gigliati's goalkeeper Ralondo Barboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Rolado Rosell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Kuddusî Erdemli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ralondo Barboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asım Suat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edvin Skålberg made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Reinaldo Briceño sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Asım Suat in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ralondo Barboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led Ozon Fc's Kuddusî Erdemli to fire away a dangerous shot which Ralondo Barboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Ozon Fc's Beat Buckmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ralondo Barboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kurt Hamrin to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Asım Suat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reinaldo Briceño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
