After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Taras Romanchuk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fundação Marques dos Reis's supporters rose to their feet, but Taras Romanchuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Tino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, Fundação Marques dos Reis's Taras Romanchuk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Norberto Tino. Norberto Tino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 11th minute, Hernan Louis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 played minutes Santa Lucia de Merlo got a freekick which was hit by Bosse Spendrup. Norberto Tino was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Wesly Goemyne capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wesly Goemyne really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Yao Bin Yun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from M. Agus Young in the 19th minute of the match. Andreas Maxsø made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Santa Lucia de Merlo's Kong Chang Zheng. Norberto Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Alexandre Pacheco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norberto Tino was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Taras Romanchuk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norberto Tino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Yao Bin Yun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from M. Agus Young went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 49th minute of the match Fundação Marques dos Reis got a corner. Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wesly Goemyne ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Wesly Goemyne got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Norberto Tino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bosse Spendrup tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Norberto Tino. An unnecessary self made goal, 4-1 in the 49th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Taras Romanchuk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Taras Romanchuk came free, but Norberto Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute of the match Fundação Marques dos Reis got a corner. Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wesly Goemyne ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 58th minute of the game Alvaro Llorienzo made a throw-in which Hernan Louis played forward. Norberto Tino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taras Romanchuk in the 62nd minute of play. In the 70th minute, Taras Romanchuk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fundação Marques dos Reis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Santa Lucia de Merlo made a substitution. Polo Quinteros replaced M. Agus Young. Alvaro Llorienzo made in the 75th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alvaro Llorienzo immediately put the ball in play. 83 minutes into the match, Taras Romanchuk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norberto Tino. Santa Lucia de Merlo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Taras Romanchuk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. 86 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's Polo Quinteros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yao Bin Yun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Norberto Tino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santa Lucia de Merlo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wesly Goemyne was slow to take the kick. During this time Fundação Marques dos Reis's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Filipe Viveiros almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Santa Lucia de Merlo's Norberto Tino did a great save. In the 94th minute Polo Quinteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Bin Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fundação Marques dos Reis's Diogo Cabral was substituted for Taras Romanchuk. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Levan Poggenborg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Yao Bin Yun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
