The coaching staff of East Ham United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Les Simpson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Les Simpson hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Quentin Bell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the East Ham United defense, Raimo Koponen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theo Groom. The East Ham United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theo Groom should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, Timothy Breckin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 杨翔远 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chaz Hudson in the 35th minute of the match. After 35 played minutes East Ham United got a freekick which was hit by Ryan Ackroyd. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 89th minute, 徐鸿源 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
