When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Ahmet Ali Poyraz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Emrys Fry to make any attempt to save it. When FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Nunez Amato in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Hansted was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chester City AFC's Emrys Fry tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the match, FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's goal looked a bit too open when Boleslaw Mudry came free, but Martin Chocholatý reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Martin Chocholatý played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boleslaw Mudry in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Peissawg Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Chocholatý saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Nunez Amato ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emrys Fry. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Nunez Amato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emrys Fry was relentless in the 59th minute of the game.
