A throw-in in the 86th minute of the game was made by Emil Chwalkiewicz with Paolo Caradaro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Yılmaz Tigin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfonso Goicoechea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emil Chwalkiewicz during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Chwalkiewicz to maneuver through the defense.
