An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Liberto in the 12th minute of play forced Pirates of Black Sea's goalkeeper Wasyl Modrzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute of the match Boulogne del Ciclón got a corner. Pirates of Black Sea's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eugène Riera ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Boulogne del Ciclón's zone, Dong Xi Jun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Moron came out of the goal and Dong Xi Jun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dong Xi Jun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Moron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dong Xi Jun, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Pirates of Black Sea's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Gabrio came free, but Wasyl Modrzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Boulogne del Ciclón were awarded a corner. Eugène Riera went to the cornerflag to take it. 40 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Liberto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wasyl Modrzewski. Pirates of Black Sea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopoldo Liberto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Boulogne del Ciclón's Daniel Moron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Boulogne del Ciclón from getting a goal against them. After 48 minutes, Taribo West mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pirates of Black Sea and the Boulogne del Ciclón players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 played minutes Pirates of Black Sea got a freekick which was hit by Taribo West. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leopoldo Liberto was the one to do the kick off. Taribo West hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Roberto Basile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Moron stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dong Xi Jun's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. The corner led Pirates of Black Sea's Ahmet Rıfat Reşat to fire away a dangerous shot which Daniel Moron despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Wasyl Modrzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Quetara in the 65th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Quetara in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wasyl Modrzewski saved Pirates of Black Sea from getting behind. Pirates of Black Sea made a substitution. Chris-George Chevalier replaced Dong Xi Jun. Dagoberto Pitta made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bonifacio Monte however managed to control. Boulogne del Ciclón's Daniel Moron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris-George Chevalier in the 74th minute of play. Tommy Dowrick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Moron read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Pirates of Black Sea's Wasyl Modrzewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Pirates of Black Sea from getting a goal against them. Bonifacio Monte received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wasyl Modrzewski came out and tried to block the shot, but Bonifacio Monte slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 78th minute. Daniel Moron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Dowrick in the 85th minute of the match. Pirates of Black Sea's Wasyl Modrzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Monte in the 92nd minute of play. Liu Zhen Ang hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the match, Diego Quetara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wasyl Modrzewski. Pirates of Black Sea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Quetara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

The Pirates of Black Sea fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Boulogne del Ciclón were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
