The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilbert Ugalde in the 3rd minute of play forced Begu Ganjang's goalkeeper Tonio Bergada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Durval Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tonio Bergada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Perfecto, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute David Trezeguet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvi Verde's Téo Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Trezeguet in the 12th minute of play. Wilbert Ugalde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th match minute, Alvi Verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attila Kiss to maneuver through the defense. Téo Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Aurelianu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tonio Bergada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Heidemann in the 21st minute of the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Leandro Heidemann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvi Verde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Heidemann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tonio Bergada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Perfecto in the 25th minute of the match. After 26 minutes Begu Ganjang's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Attila Kiss who took care of the corner kick. Alvi Verde's Attila Kiss was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tonio Bergada in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tonio Bergada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Perfecto's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute, Leandro Heidemann made a precise shot to the right of Tonio Bergada. Begu Ganjang's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Téo Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Trezeguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Alvi Verde's Leandro Heidemann in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Begu Ganjang's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Alvi Verde getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Giovanni Hermes hit a great ball. Alvi Verde were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Begu Ganjang's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Attila Kiss took the corner. Giovanni Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Wilbert Ugalde left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alvi Verde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 67th minute David Trezeguet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Alvi Verde's Leandro Heidemann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tonio Bergada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Begu Ganjang's Tonio Bergada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Perfecto in the 72nd minute of play. Alvi Verde made a substitution. Cuero Buseth replaced Leandro Heidemann. Alvi Verde's Téo Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Alvi Verde from getting a goal against them. After 83 minutes of play, Begu Ganjang's David Trezeguet made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Téo Leite was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, David Trezeguet took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Téo Leite to make any attempt to save it. In the 89th minute Rodolfo Perfecto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tonio Bergada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piarres Cabredo's late challenge caught a Begu Ganjang's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Piarres Cabredo helped the player get up and apologised.
