In the 26th match minute, FC Bal op het Dak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shaq Francis to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harvey Davies prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute of the match Hertha 1969 got a corner. FC Bal op het Dak's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Moritz Hasenjäger ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC Bal op het Dak made a substitution. Iwan Valentijn replaced Martijn August. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rupert Heidingsfelder was the one to do the kick off. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwan Valentijn in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moritz Hasenjäger got free with Harvey Davies in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rune Jarstein stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iwan Valentijn's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilhelm Nienhaus got free with Harvey Davies in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87 minutes of play, FC Bal op het Dak's Artur Mendes made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rune Jarstein was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwan Valentijn in the 90th minute of play. Rune Jarstein came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bal op het Dak's Iwan Valentijn. But to his dismay, Iwan Valentijn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Bal op het Dak fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hertha 1969 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
