The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Norbert Major notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Unterrudling's Karl Jemella. Karl Jemella was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Norbert Major blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl Jemella having to make a save. Norbert Major could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Karl Jemella made a huge save. After 9 minutes of play, FC Unterrudling's Federico Girotti made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastião Xoxe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roque Venceslas hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Sebastião Xoxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Girotti in the 15th minute of the match. Stefanos Stefanopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Karl Jemella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Manos Trachanas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norbert Major blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl Jemella having to make a save. Norbert Major could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Karl Jemella made a huge save. If Norbert Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anselmo Doris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl Jemella read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Federico Girotti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastião Xoxe. Pogoń Szczecin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Federico Girotti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After the first half FC Unterrudling were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norbert Major to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Pogoń Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Donzel. 56 minutes into the match, Federico Girotti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastião Xoxe. Pogoń Szczecin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Federico Girotti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Federico Girotti might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastião Xoxe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Federico Girotti ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastião Xoxe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Girotti in the 61st minute. Sándor Fenyvessy charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sándor Fenyvessy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pogoń Szczecin booed when FC Unterrudling was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sándor Fenyvessy didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Unterrudling's Karl Jemella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Major in the 68th minute of play. Karl Jemella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Major in the 71st minute of play. Sebastião Xoxe made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Federico Girotti sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute Norbert Major shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Jemella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pogoń Szczecin made a substitution. Chadli Boudjedra replaced Conrado Donzel. Pogoń Szczecin's Dariusz Harbaszewski was substituted for Jurand Debowski. Lütfullah Taycan kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Karl Jemella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darko Pančev in the 81st minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Xande Xande had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastião Xoxe. Pogoń Szczecin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xande Xande was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Manos Trachanas hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Unterrudling walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
