In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Feyenoord Malinovo's goalkeeper Rastislav Duch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Federico Girotti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl Jemella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Zoch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Feyenoord Malinovo's Eugen Zoch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl Jemella narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ángel De Silva during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugen Zoch in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl Jemella prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andreas den Ronden made in the 37th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dávid Zachar immediately put the ball in play. Federico Girotti took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rastislav Duch. Rastislav Duch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 43 minutes of play, Feyenoord Malinovo's Peter Németh made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl Jemella was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugen Zoch made a kick off. Rastislav Duch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Girotti in the 52nd minute. The supporters of FC Unterrudling booed when Feyenoord Malinovo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas den Ronden didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, FC Unterrudling's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Németh came free, but Karl Jemella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Hauke Klare hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Németh in the 68th minute of play forced FC Unterrudling's goalkeeper Karl Jemella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th match minute, FC Unterrudling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Hauke Klare to maneuver through the defense. Feyenoord Malinovo made a substitution. Martin Paliesek replaced Dávid Zachar. A collision led to FC Unterrudling getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jan-Hauke Klare hit a great ball. Federico Girotti took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rastislav Duch. Rastislav Duch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. FC Unterrudling made a substitution. Rastislav Duch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The FC Unterrudling supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Unterrudling would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
