Pankracy Glogowski was a little too slow when Zé Paulo da Silva got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Oswald came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Hertha 1969 booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Erroman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Gigel Elenescu sped through Club Atlético Atlanta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pankracy Glogowski. 21 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pankracy Glogowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Chiriac, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Mugur Chiriac scored 2-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rune Jarstein, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gigel Elenescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Pankracy Glogowski made a huge save. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Elenescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Pankracy Glogowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Abreu in the 82nd minute of play. Hertha 1969's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alfonso Goicoechea 85 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-3. Kristian Oswald took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pankracy Glogowski. Pankracy Glogowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. After having played for 92 minutes, Wilhelm Nienhaus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hertha 1969's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilhelm Nienhaus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pankracy Glogowski came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hertha 1969's Gigel Elenescu. But to his dismay, Gigel Elenescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. Hertha 1969's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
