Torgny Landin started the match with the kick off. Jens-Åke Källberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Bamford in the 5th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Moscovi Ψ's goalkeeper Kiliz Mauleon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torgny Landin. In the 19th minute Paolo-César Maldini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Källberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Åke Källberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Bamford in the 23rd minute of the match. Jens-Åke Källberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Bamford, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jens-Åke Källberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Bamford in the 28th minute of the match. When Moscovi Ψ's Paolo-César Maldini in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boca Juniors's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo-César Maldini in the 37th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Källberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Bamford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Åke Källberg having to interfere. Jens-Åke Källberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Bamford in the 40th minute of the match. Romulo Brion made in the 42nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Guillermo Marz.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Eudoxio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kiliz Mauleon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Holger Blom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torgny Landin in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kiliz Mauleon saved Moscovi Ψ from getting behind. In the 74th match minute, Moscovi Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Raulo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 75 minutes, Vilhelm Holm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilhelm Holm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Källberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edu Gol. If Jan Höijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Torgny Landin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kiliz Mauleon was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Torgny Landin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kiliz Mauleon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Moscovi Ψ's goalkeeper Kiliz Mauleon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kiliz Mauleon came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin. But to his dismay, Torgny Landin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jens-Åke Källberg came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Moscovi Ψ's Edu Gol. But to his dismay, Edu Gol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.

The Boca Juniors players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
