Georg Hagberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 34 minutes, Alain Roche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ágætis Byrjun and the Jk Tammeka 90 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ágætis Byrjun's Alain Roche got a free kick in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nick Heesen in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolf Levi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute Zé Pedro Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Hagberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Ágætis Byrjun players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jk Tammeka 90 were winning 0-1.

Jk Tammeka 90 made a substitution. Üllar Veski replaced Zbigniew Trela. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nick Heesen to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Üllar Veski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Hagberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Figueroa came free, but Georg Hagberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jk Tammeka 90's Adolf Levi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Donostia in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Jk Tammeka 90 getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Volli Leemet hit a great ball. Ágætis Byrjun's Jelte Reitsma was substituted for Ernst Melis. Ágætis Byrjun's Alejandro dos Santos was substituted for Gert van den Bergh. In the 75th minute of the match Ladislao Cordarius sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolf Levi skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Nick Heesen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adolf Levi was relentless in the 78th minute of the game.
