After 7 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Gaitan. When Germano Mandrak fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joinville City - FSCMZ's protests and gave Germano Mandrak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Germano Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Mandrak came free, but Nacho Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquim Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Gaitan, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Baltasar Gaitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cable a Tierra's Nacho Gonzalez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Cable a Tierra from getting a goal against them. After 39 played minutes Joinville City - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Germano Mandrak. 41 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Gaitan came free, but Joaquim Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Germano Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Joinville City - FSCMZ defense, Baltasar Gaitan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquim Amaral. The Joinville City - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquim Amaral should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Gaitan in the 46th minute of play forced Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Joaquim Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Gaitan in the 47th minute of play forced Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Joaquim Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Cable a Tierra were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pablo Lizzio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Joinville City - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal Paulista to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Gaitan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Joaquim Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltasar Gaitan. 57 minutes into the game, Baltasar Gaitan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquim Amaral. Baltasar Gaitan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Cable a Tierra's Fabio Fidencio was substituted for Lucas Cisneros. Neymar Joinvilense hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the game, Neymar Joinvilense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Nacho Gonzalez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 67 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Lauren. After a rather tough play, Cable a Tierra's Reynaldo Lauren got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute Endrick Joinvilense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Amaral was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Pablo Lizzio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pablo Lizzio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Cable a Tierra's Pablo Lizzio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquim Amaral. That made the score 1-5 after 75 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosme Turi got free with Joaquim Amaral in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Cable a Tierra's Pablo Lizzio in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalie prevented a goal. Joaquim Amaral came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Cable a Tierra's Pablo Lizzio. But to his dismay, Pablo Lizzio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Baltasar Gaitan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquim Amaral. That made the score 1-7 in the 90 minute of play.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cable a Tierra walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
