In the 9th minute Deng Kun Xu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willian Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingvar Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 16th minute of the game Roland Smolarek made a throw-in which Robert Ţugui played forward. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabiano Abraão in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ingvar Hellkvist saved C Ａ R D I N Ａ L from getting behind. Willian Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deng Kun Xu in the 19th minute of the match. Ingvar Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deng Kun Xu in the 24th minute of play forced Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Willian Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frédson Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Willian Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deng Kun Xu in the 35th minute of play. After 46 minutes, Duda Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merusca F&P - CIMZ and the C Ａ R D I N Ａ L players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Merusca F&P - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Duda Alves.

In the 54th minute of the match C Ａ R D I N Ａ L got a corner. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roland Smolarek ran over to the corner to take the kick. Horea Vrejiu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Willian Trevisan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Ţugui went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 59th match minute, C Ａ R D I N Ａ L was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Smolarek to maneuver through the defense. When C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Herminio Vincente in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalie prevented a goal. In the 68th minute, Guga Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's zone, Carlos Augusto Esteves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingvar Hellkvist came out of the goal and Carlos Augusto Esteves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Carlos Augusto Esteves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ingvar Hellkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Willian Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deng Kun Xu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingvar Hellkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Augusto Esteves in the 80th minute. Carlos Augusto Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Ingvar Hellkvist made a huge save. The supporters of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L booed when Merusca F&P - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şah Conkur didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Herminio Vincente cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Willian Trevisan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deng Kun Xu in the 92nd minute of play forced Merusca F&P - CIMZ's goalkeeper Willian Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

C Ａ R D I N Ａ L walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
