When Modesto Iztal came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Raco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Iztal couldn't finish the play. Silverio Terciero made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Conor Costello sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Silverio Terciero managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Killashee's Conor Costello fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Silverio Terciero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boru McJames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Boru McJames's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silverio Terciero was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After having played for 19 minutes, Modesto Iztal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Iztal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Modesto Iztal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Agustin Claris's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brann McNamee was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Silverio Terciero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conor Costello in the 32nd minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Killashee's Brann McNamee got control of the ball when Modesto Iztal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Modesto Iztal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brann McNamee having to interfere. Nestor Urbasa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brann McNamee. Killashee's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Killashee getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Suibhne McSteve hit a great ball. When Modesto Iztal came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Raco fans jumped to their feet. In the 89th minute, Modesto Iztal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
