After 30th play minutes Hernan Orland shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Ricard Doyle and just under the crossbar into goal. Denis Pierres's late challenge caught a Mullabryan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Pierres helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Amigos de la Chala FC got a freekick which was hit by Denis Pierres. Amigos de la Chala FC's Melquiades Sotil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymun McFrank in the 35th minute of play. Ricard Doyle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Balendin in the 36th minute. Cathal Horgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Hernan Orland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricard Doyle. Mullabryan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hernan Orland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Orland in the 52nd minute of play forced Mullabryan's goalkeeper Ricard Doyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Baldomiro Fernendo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Mullabryan's Cathal Horgan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Sotil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ricard Doyle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Urtsua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Cristian Urtsua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricard Doyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melquiades Sotil was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Mullabryan's Ricard Doyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Balendin in the 70th minute of play. If Cathal Horgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cathal Horgan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Melquiades Sotil when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gaynor Gillmour hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Isidoro Balendin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricard Doyle was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 84th match minute, Mullabryan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaynor Gillmour to maneuver through the defense. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mullabryan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
