Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darley Adamson in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Sotil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Darley Adamson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Melquiades Sotil when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Darley Adamson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Sotil having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Darley Adamson made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Amigos de la Chala FC's Melquiades Sotil tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the game, Darley Adamson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Melquiades Sotil. Darley Adamson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Cristian Urtsua took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Earl Mcvey. Earl Mcvey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 26th match minute, Amigos de la Chala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Oihan to maneuver through the defense. Bickford Serena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melquiades Sotil having to make a save. Melquiades Sotil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darley Adamson's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Domingo Darien kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, The Shadows's Darley Adamson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melquiades Sotil. Melquiades Sotil yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. After having played for 39 minutes, Bickford Serena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Shadows's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bickford Serena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Amigos de la Chala FC's Uriel Iraunkor got a free kick in the 41st minute. Earl Mcvey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Urtsua, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Urtsua stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Urtsua could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Earl Mcvey made a huge save. After 56 minutes Amigos de la Chala FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Case Maunsell who took care of the corner kick. The Shadows's Case Maunsell was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Melquiades Sotil in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Bickford Serena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Amigos de la Chala FC defense, Darley Adamson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melquiades Sotil. The Amigos de la Chala FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melquiades Sotil should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute, Darley Adamson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Isidoro Balendin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Darley Adamson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Sotil was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Bickford Serena struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Melquiades Sotil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Shadows. Melquiades Sotil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darley Adamson's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the match, The Shadows's Nelson Mogork sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Sotil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Cristian Urtsua dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Earl Mcvey, 5-2. The Shadows made a substitution. Barnard Rafferty replaced Bert Schulzte. In the 88th minute Santiago Quinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Earl Mcvey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes The Shadows got a freekick which was hit by Arne Huther. Denis Pierres took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Earl Mcvey. The Shadows's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee ended the match the The Shadows players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
