Innokentiy Artemev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Vitz having to make a save. In the 22nd minute, Casimir Jahnen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergey Denisov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Vitz having to make a save. Stepan Boltaev scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Vitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the game, Innokentiy Artemev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hugo Vitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hugo Vitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Innokentiy Artemev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vsevolod Sergin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrich Polzin, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Nils Schlüter fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Schulze Neuhof FSV's protests and gave Nils Schlüter a yellow card for diving instead. Nils Schlüter hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half Novosibirsk FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulrich Polzin to strike the kick off in the second half. Innokentiy Artemev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Vitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Hugo Vitz made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Stepan Boltaev sent off a good shot on target. Hugo Vitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergey Denisov's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Sergey Denisov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Vitz having to interfere. Stepan Boltaev kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Schulze Neuhof FSV's Oscar Thal got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Sergey Denisov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Novosibirsk FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Sergey Denisov took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Vitz. Hugo Vitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Innokentiy Artemev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Vitz having to interfere. Ulrich Polzin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulrich Polzin kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Hugo Vitz came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Novosibirsk FC's Innokentiy Artemev. But to his dismay, Innokentiy Artemev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Novosibirsk FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
