Arseniy Maltsev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Telmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When %teams%'s Ostap Artemev was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-0 just inside the left pole, 12 minutes into the game. Carter Gargano was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. After 15th play minutes Mauro Telmo shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Arseniy Maltsev and just under the crossbar into goal. Novorossiysk FC's Potap Kostin got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Telmo in the 22nd minute of play forced Novorossiysk FC's goalkeeper Arseniy Maltsev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danila Hlebnikov charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danila Hlebnikov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes Novorossiysk FC got a freekick which was hit by Danila Hlebnikov. Arseniy Maltsev came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Doping Positivo's Mauro Telmo. But to his dismay, Mauro Telmo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Doping Positivo fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Doping Positivo's Mauro Telmo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Potap Kostin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes Novorossiysk FC got a freekick which was hit by Lev Miroshkin. Vitaliy Gorbachev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauro Telmo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Potap Kostin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Telmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arseniy Maltsev having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Novorossiysk FC's goalkeeper Arseniy Maltsev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Henry. 82 minutes into the game, Bernardo Henry was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Doping Positivo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Novorossiysk FC the free kick. In the 83rd minute, Bernardo Henry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carter Gargano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ostap Artemev's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute, Bernardo Henry left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Doping Positivo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Mauro Telmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arseniy Maltsev having to interfere.
