When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Dawid Olejarz put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Olov Wahlnäs. Olov Wahlnäs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dawid Olejarz in the 33rd minute of the match. Dawid Olejarz might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olov Wahlnäs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dawid Olejarz ran back to his position shaking his head. Olov Wahlnäs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dawid Olejarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lajos Vadász came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Skövde AIK's Kurt Hamrin. But to his dismay, Kurt Hamrin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Skövde AIK's Olov Wahlnäs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dawid Olejarz in the 46th minute of play. Kurt Hamrin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Lajos Vadász made a huge save.
