In the 8th match minute, Skövde AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hjalmar Hägert to maneuver through the defense. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Ivan Drago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Hamrin in the 13th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Ivan Drago successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 17 played minutes Skövde AIK got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Keegan. After 18 played minutes Skövde AIK got a freekick which was hit by Knut Rudberg. In the 22nd minute, Skövde AIK's Georg Norström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ivan Drago. Ivan Drago yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 27 minutes into the game, Pepe Argento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Olov Wahlnäs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Krister Uggstedt made in the 35th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Knut Rudberg immediately put the ball in play. Pepe Argento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Skövde AIK's Olov Wahlnäs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepe Argento in the 36th minute of play. If Pepe Argento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Lost Boys Sports Academy got a freekick which was hit by Pepe Argento.

Pepe Argento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th minute Pepe Argento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Wahlnäs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Drago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Keegan in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Lost Boys Sports Academy booed when Skövde AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Rudberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Skövde AIK's Jerry Williams was substituted for Chen Ao Fan. Lost Boys Sports Academy made a substitution. Hu Cheng replaced Marcelo Xabat. After a rather tough play, Skövde AIK's Knut Rudberg got a free kick in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the Skövde AIK defense, Johan Sellberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olov Wahlnäs. The Skövde AIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olov Wahlnäs should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Keegan in the 82nd minute of play forced Lost Boys Sports Academy's goalkeeper Ivan Drago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 minutes of play, Lost Boys Sports Academy's Johan Sellberg made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olov Wahlnäs was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Coronel Llorente got free with Olov Wahlnäs in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute of the match Lost Boys Sports Academy got a corner. Skövde AIK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Merih Demiral ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Merih Demiral got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Olov Wahlnäs quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Skövde AIK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lost Boys Sports Academy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
