A beautiful save bye Skövde AIK's goalie prevented a goal. Roberto Cherro might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olov Wahlnäs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roberto Cherro ran back to his position shaking his head. Skövde AIK's Olov Wahlnäs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Cherro in the 25th minute of play. If Steff Berckmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lajos Vadász made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Hamrin in the 31st minute of play. Lajos Vadász took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Keegan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Cherro scored 3-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olov Wahlnäs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in North Hill United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty!

The wind increased when Roberto Cherro made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Roberto Cherro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Wahlnäs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan got a free kick in the 54th minute. North Hill United's Carlos Sevenants was substituted for Krzysztof Pawlak. 64 minutes into the match, North Hill United's goalkeeper Lajos Vadász had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chen Ao Fan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Keegan in the 68th minute of play forced North Hill United's goalkeeper Lajos Vadász to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filip Brolin hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Dawid Olejarz might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olov Wahlnäs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dawid Olejarz ran back to his position shaking his head.
