The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emil Hägg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Portugal in the 5th minute of the match. Fauna Utd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 苏军扬 in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, Bajenland's Silvério Toscano got a free kick in the 7th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriano Croti. After 17 played minutes Bajenland got a freekick which was hit by Silvério Toscano. Emil Hägg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Portugal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Karel Cromefeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Bajenland's goal looked a bit too open when Pieterjan Anteunis came free, but Emil Hägg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Yuri Portugal notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bajenland's Emil Hägg. Emil Hägg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute Pieterjan Anteunis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Hägg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bajenland's Emil Hägg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieterjan Anteunis in the 31st minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, Fauna Utd's Yuri Portugal made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emil Hägg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yuri Portugal in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Hägg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emil Hägg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Portugal in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Yuri Portugal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fauna Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Bajenland's Emil Hägg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karel Cromefeldt in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Fauna Utd were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fresco Sesse was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Ifrim came free, but Radamel Hendrickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Hägg had great luck who in the 82ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Yuri Portugal from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yuri Portugal in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Hägg saved Bajenland from getting behind. Emil Hägg made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Pieterjan Anteunis sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Fauna Utd's Emil Hägg threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Karel Cromefeldt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bajenland's Emil Hägg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Bajenland from getting a goal against them. In the 91st match minute, Fauna Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pieterjan Anteunis to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Ifrim in the 94th minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fauna Utd eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
