Ninjas in Pyjamas's attentive Mihnea Iosub managed to snatch the ball when Atilio De la Cuadra made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. Eric Păvăloae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ninjas in Pyjamas's attentive Codrin Neguțu managed to snatch the ball when Atilio De la Cuadra made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. Eric Păvăloae could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Maurício Bomba made a huge save. 40 minutes into the game, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Gabor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 48thth minute of the game Ilie Răduleț who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC LeX Luthor's Maurício Bomba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peep Pronk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ninjas in Pyjamas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The supporters of Ninjas in Pyjamas booed when AC LeX Luthor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position.
