In the 24th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charly Good in the 26th minute of play. Soroca F.C.'s attentive Max Josef Justice managed to snatch the ball when Segundo Aureo made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. Soroca F.C.'s Amador Venceslao quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Segundo Aureo made in the 45th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Maureen Franco immediately put the ball in play. Charly Good struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Dan Wennerqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Buceo.

Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Soroca F.C. from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Sporting Buceo defense, Răzvan Necula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Máximo Correia. The Sporting Buceo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Máximo Correia should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Iraklis Rapanos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dan Wennerqvist. That made the score 1-2 in the 82 minute of play. Oscar Ruggeri made in the 89th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Juan Sartori immediately put the ball in play. Răzvan Necula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Máximo Correia came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula. But to his dismay, Răzvan Necula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When Răzvan Necula came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Soroca F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Răzvan Necula couldn't finish the play. Sporting Buceo were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
