Emil Gabor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Kjellman, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Mihnea Iosub's late challenge caught a FC Bal op het Dak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some careless play in the Ninjas in Pyjamas defense, Marick Brunt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Gabor. The Ninjas in Pyjamas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Gabor should have stopped the shot. Many of FC Bal op het Dak's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC Bal op het Dak may have spent more time on the ball, but Ninjas in Pyjamas were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
