Emil Gabor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawid Olejarz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Ninjas in Pyjamas getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Remus Pinatel hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Eric Păvăloae took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Lajos Vadász to make any attempt to save it. Alexandru Negreanu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Alexandru Negreanu came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lajos Vadász could save by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dawid Olejarz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emil Gabor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dawid Olejarz in the 54th minute of play. North Hill United's Dawid Olejarz got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eric Păvăloae in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lajos Vadász prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the match, North Hill United's Dawid Olejarz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Gabor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd match minute, Ninjas in Pyjamas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remus Pinatel to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the game, Marc de Pelsmakere was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Hill United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ninjas in Pyjamas the free kick. After 84 played minutes North Hill United got a freekick which was hit by Marc de Pelsmakere. In the 89th minute Eric Păvăloae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lajos Vadász saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. North Hill United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
