Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alberto Suarez made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrés Mayen in the 5th minute of play forced Coleford's goalkeeper Ladislao Corrales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 minutes Coleford's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ernesto Alvarenga who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ernesto Alvarenga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ladislao Corrales quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Coleford booed when Santa Catalina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Zepeda didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Coleford's goal looked a bit too open when Andrés Mayen came free, but Ladislao Corrales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Andrés Mayen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Corrales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrés Mayen, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Coleford's goal looked a bit too open when Andrés Mayen came free, but Ladislao Corrales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Parada kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Santa Catalina got a freekick which was hit by Andrés Mayen. Alberto Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Joseph Nolte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efren Calderon got free with Joseph Nolte in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ladislao Corrales didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrés Mayen went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 37 minutes into the match, Coleford's goal looked a bit too open when Andrés Mayen came free, but Ladislao Corrales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrés Mayen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ladislao Corrales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Edgardo Bran recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joseph Nolte. Edgardo Bran showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrés Mayen to strike the kick off in the second half. Ladislao Corrales had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Ernesto Alvarenga's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Santa Catalina's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Collado came free, but Joseph Nolte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Coleford's Ladislao Corrales got control of the ball when Andrés Mayen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andrés Mayen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Ladislao Corrales skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Andrés Mayen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Corrales having to interfere. Armando Vinosis's late challenge caught a Santa Catalina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Vinosis helped the player get up and apologised. Ladislao Corrales made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Andrés Mayen sent off a good shot on target. Andrés Mayen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ladislao Corrales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ladislao Corrales didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrés Mayen went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Andrés Mayen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ladislao Corrales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Andrés Mayen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. In the 83rd match minute, Santa Catalina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrés Mayen to maneuver through the defense. Eraldo Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Corrales having to interfere. Joseph Nolte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Bran in the 90th minute of the match. In the 94th minute Alberto Suarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Nolte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Coleford fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Santa Catalina were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
