Leonel Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Ulises Rico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caterham Valley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Rico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Douglas Liborio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Douglas Liborio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliseo Ortiz was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. A collision led to Caterham Valley getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Rolando Santamaria hit a great ball. Rony Moreiras short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Allan Padilla to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Rico in the 36th minute of play forced Nottingham City's goalkeeper Eliseo Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulises Rico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Ulises Rico came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Caterham Valley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Rico couldn't finish the play. Miguel Guerrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Allan Padilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rony Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Padilla came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Nottingham City's Miguel Guerrero. But to his dismay, Miguel Guerrero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 80 minutes into the game, Félix Renderos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nottingham City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caterham Valley the free kick. In the 80th match minute, Nottingham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Félix Renderos to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Miguel Guerrero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Allan Padilla was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. If Miguel Guerrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
