With a little luck, Eben Ezer FC's Alberto Arellano got control of the ball when Oswaldo Salguero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto Arellano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Benavides in the 14th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 65thth minute of the game Mauro Zelaya who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Croughton's Jorge Rey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Selvin Orobio's late challenge caught a Eben Ezer FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Selvin Orobio helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Croughton got a freekick which was hit by Selvin Orobio. When Ismael Giron fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Croughton's protests and gave Ismael Giron a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Croughton getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ismael Giron hit a great ball. Rafael Arellano's late challenge caught a Eben Ezer FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Arellano helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Croughton:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Eben Ezer FC:s goal. The referee gave Eben Ezer FC a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rony Hinguanzo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Croughton's Jorge Rey. 1-2. 79 minutes into the match, Oswaldo Salguero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Arellano. Eben Ezer FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oswaldo Salguero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Croughton's Jorge Rey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Zelaya in the 84th minute of play. Alberto Arellano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Benavides in the 86th minute of play. If Oswaldo Salguero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Croughton were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
