Spectators: 6849 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Christian Prado took the kick off in the first half of the match. Francisco Villanueva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Bermudez in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jhalmar Fernandez during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 played minutes Club de Futbol San Miguel got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Flores. If Oswaldo Rivera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Southwark defense, Jairo Oporto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Rosales. The Southwark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Rosales should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Southwark's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Prado came free, but Humberto Rosales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Club de Futbol San Miguel were awarded a corner. Yasir Lozano went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Patricio Sanchez managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Humberto Rosales stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Prado's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Southwark's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Prado came free, but Humberto Rosales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Juan Sosa took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Francisco Villanueva to make any attempt to save it. In the 32nd minute, Marcos Navarro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Juan Sosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Southwark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 37 minutes into the match, Club de Futbol San Miguel's goalkeeper Francisco Villanueva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Sosa. Jairo Oporto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rene Leiva's late challenge caught a Club de Futbol San Miguel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rene Leiva helped the player get up and apologised. Abraham Flores didn't quite understand what happened when in the 46 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Navarro to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Rene Leiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 played minutes Club de Futbol San Miguel got a freekick which was hit by Will Aguirrez. Club de Futbol San Miguel's Francisco Villanueva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Navarro in the 61st minute of play. Humberto Rosales acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Will Aguirrez. In the 67th minute of the match Rene Leiva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco Villanueva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Christian Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club de Futbol San Miguel's Edgardo Ancheta was substituted for Benji Mora. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Ionică Hrib managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club de Futbol San Miguel's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionică Hrib was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Rosales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 76 minutes of play, Southwark's Marcos Navarro made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Villanueva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ionică Hrib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Rosales having to interfere. Oswaldo Rivera scored 4-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisco Villanueva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ionică Hrib scored 4-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Humberto Rosales, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the game, Ionică Hrib cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Humberto Rosales was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Southwark support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
