Spectators: 6841 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Manuel Alvarez got the match started through his kick off. Dennys Villatoro's late challenge caught a Leyland City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dennys Villatoro helped the player get up and apologised. Dennys Villatoro kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Jaime Nunes spun around in front of the goal 5 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Woolwich United's goal. In the 6th match minute, Leyland City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marvin Portillo to maneuver through the defense. Henry Sandoval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Primitivo Rivas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute Manuel Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Ventura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, Leyland City's Jaime Nunes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Ventura was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Woolwich United's Dennys Villatoro got a free kick in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Woolwich United defense, Jaime Nunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Ventura. The Woolwich United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Ventura should have stopped the shot. After 26 minutes, Henry Sandoval made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Leyland City's Primitivo Rivas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Primitivo Rivas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Sandoval in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Mondragon in the 39th minute of play forced Leyland City's goalkeeper Primitivo Rivas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Sandoval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56thth minute of the game Manuel Alvarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Woolwich United's Victor Ventura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victor Ventura came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Leyland City's Manuel Alvarez. But to his dismay, Manuel Alvarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Manuel Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Ventura having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Manuel Alvarez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Victor Ventura was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 77 played minutes, Leyland City's Alejandro Amaya shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victor Ventura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leyland City reached it. Leyland City's Primitivo Rivas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Sandoval in the 81st minute of play. Saul Mondragon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Primitivo Rivas made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Saul Mondragon sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute, Saul Mondragon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 91 played minutes Woolwich United got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Bonilla. In the 92nd minute, Manuel Alvarez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leyland City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1.
