Spectators: 6963 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1963, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Max Guzman kicked off to start the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Selvin Giron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whitwell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Selvin Giron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Selvin Giron in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Misael Castillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Whitwell's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jhalmar Umaña in the 53rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Jhalmar Umaña got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Misael Castillo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jhalmar Escalante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Batres in the 55th minute of play. Andrés Zapata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jhalmar Escalante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Whitwell's zone, Andrés Zapata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jhalmar Escalante came out of the goal and Andrés Zapata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnoldo Coreas in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Misael Castillo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Aldridge's Augusto Bustamante got a free kick in the 64th minute. Aldridge's Misael Castillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selvin Giron in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Guzman in the 66th minute of play forced Whitwell's goalkeeper Jhalmar Escalante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Max Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Lozano kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Max Guzman scored 1-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jhalmar Escalante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aldridge's Misael Castillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selvin Giron in the 83rd minute of play. Misael Castillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Aldridge's goal looked a bit too open when Selvin Giron came free, but Misael Castillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Selvin Giron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Selvin Giron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aldridge's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
