Pershore FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Salvador Anaya 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 14th minute, one of Club Deportivo Aguila:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Deportivo Aguila. The referee gave Pershore FC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Benji Olmedo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Deportivo Aguila's Victorino Granados. 1-1. 20 minutes into the game, Ernesto Cerna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Aguila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pershore FC the free kick. A collision led to Club Deportivo Aguila getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ernesto Cerna hit a great ball. Julio Giron made in the 25th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Oswaldo Jimenez however managed to control. If Alonso Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Januario Alfaro's late challenge caught a Pershore FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Januario Alfaro helped the player get up and apologised. Januario Alfaro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Victorino Granados showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Ocampo in the 32nd minute of the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Club Deportivo Aguila's Ricardo Fuentes in the 35th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Leopoldo Bonilla was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Pershore FC through an amazing save. After having played for 36 minutes, Januario Alfaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Aguila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Januario Alfaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henry Ocampo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Januario Alfaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Pershore FC booed when Club Deportivo Aguila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zelvin Murgas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Pershore FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Bonilla should have stopped the shot. Victorino Granados made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when William Díaz sent off a good shot on target. Ernesto Cerna kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Pershore FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Club Deportivo Aguila's much stronger midfield.
