In the 24th minute Alexander Navas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Uranga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Real Kuskatan C.F.'s zone, Maggi Gonzáles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Uranga came out of the goal and Maggi Gonzáles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Real Kuskatan C.F. defense, Alexander Navas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Uranga. The Real Kuskatan C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Uranga should have stopped the shot. Paradorn Todor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Ruben in the 34th minute of the match. When Feliks Drzewucki fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Kuskatan C.F.'s protests and gave Feliks Drzewucki a yellow card for diving instead. Feliks Drzewucki hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Di Xi came free, but Antonio Uranga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Maggi Gonzáles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Uranga was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half Barça Salvadoreño FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexander Navas to make the kick off. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Frans Escajadillo was substituted for Mario Serrano. A collision led to Real Kuskatan C.F. getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ramon Costas hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Coenraad Peters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Uranga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Juan Campos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Paradorn Todor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Escajadillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Feng Hao Hui kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Barça Salvadoreño FC's Dominik Szoboszlai was substituted for Alexander Navas. After a rather tough play, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Feng Hao Hui got a free kick in the 78th minute. When Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Juan Campos, in the 82nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Real Kuskatan C.F.. You Ang Zhou came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target.
