The supporters of LenSalvador CF-A.C.S booed when FC PUMA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franklin Reyes charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franklin Reyes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 8 minutes into the match, FC PUMA's goalkeeper Wen Ran Fan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Regalado. Luís Regalado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Wen Ran Fan made a huge save. In the 19th minute of the game Franklin Reyes made a throw-in which Jaime Villanueva played forward. Jonathan Félix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luís Regalado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Delmar Mendiko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maarten Janssen, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Placido Austin made a precise shot to the right of Delmar Mendiko. LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a little luck, FC PUMA's Wen Ran Fan got control of the ball when Luís Regalado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wen Ran Fan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Regalado in the 36th minute. After 38 played minutes FC PUMA got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Reyes. In the 43rd minute, Placido Austin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC PUMA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Luís Regalados short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Wen Ran Fan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half FC PUMA were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Regalado to make the kick off. In the 54th minute André Giansanti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Mendiko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Mendiko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Villanueva in the 63rd minute. Hugo Boianelli hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's Delmar Mendiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Ulloa in the 72nd minute of play. Wen Ran Fan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Neppi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Mario Neppi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LenSalvador CF-A.C.S made a substitution. Hasso Timm replaced Mario Neppi. LenSalvador CF-A.C.S's Luís Regalado got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wen Ran Fan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Regalado went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Placido Austin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC PUMA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
