Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when David Pimentel kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Pedro Mondragon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Baptista. Maitros FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Mondragon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Alvaro Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Asad in the 7th minute of the match. C.D Luis Angel Firpo's Manuel Moreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save C.D Luis Angel Firpo from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes into the game, David Pimentel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Moreira. David Pimentel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Maitros FC's Alvaro Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Leiva in the 14th minute of play. Alvaro Baptista came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by C.D Luis Angel Firpo's Pedro Mondragon. But to his dismay, Pedro Mondragon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Maitros FC's David Pimentel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manuel Moreira. That made the score 2-2 after 19 minutes of play. After 25 minutes, Jorge Leiva made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Maitros FC's Alvaro Baptista tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alvaro Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Asad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Pedro Mondragon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maitros FC's Alvaro Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Leiva in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Leiva in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Baptista saved Maitros FC from getting behind. Manuel Moreira made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when David Pimentel sent off a good shot on target. After 39 minutes, Jorge Leiva made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Maitros FC's Alvaro Baptista tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Mondragon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Baptista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute Jorge Leiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half C.D Luis Angel Firpo were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

C.D Luis Angel Firpo's Angel Cerna was substituted for Patricio Asad. Victorino Ribeiro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. C.D Luis Angel Firpo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jorge Leiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvaro Baptista having to make a save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Omar Barrera put in a rough tackle. Alvaro Baptista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alonso Ulloa in the 58th minute. Alvaro Baptista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angel Cerna went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. C.D Luis Angel Firpo's Manuel Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erick Palencia in the 64th minute of play. Alvaro Baptista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Leiva's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Maitros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Leiva came free, but Alvaro Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.D Luis Angel Firpo's Jorge Leiva got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Leiva did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-7 to the left of a surprised Alvaro Baptista 81 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute of the match, Jorge Leiva tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alvaro Baptista saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Leiva in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Baptista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute of the match Abraham Reyes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alvaro Baptista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the last second Alvaro Baptista throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jorge Leiva in the 90thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Leiva in the 91st minute of play forced Maitros FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
