Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Oswaldo Noyola started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes of play, SantaAna's Oswaldo Reyes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Coreas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 13 minutes into the match, Félix Suarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Coreas. Congresbury's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Félix Suarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 19th match minute, Congresbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Del Cid to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute of the match Carmelo Benavides sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enrique Coreas skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Félix Suarez in the 28th minute of play forced Congresbury's goalkeeper Enrique Coreas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Coreas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Carrillo in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, SantaAna's Félix Suarez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enrique Coreas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The Congresbury players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SantaAna were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oswaldo Reyes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felipe Cerna succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 56th playminute. In the 58th minute, SantaAna's Felipe Cerna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as SantaAna's Felipe Cerna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enrique Coreas. That made the score 0-8 after 65 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Reyes in the 69th minute of play forced Congresbury's goalkeeper Enrique Coreas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Felipe Cerna came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the SantaAna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Cerna couldn't finish the play. Enrique Coreas was a little too slow when Félix Suarez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-9. 76 minutes into the game, Félix Suarez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enrique Coreas. Félix Suarez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Félix Suarez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enrique Coreas came out and tried to block the shot, but Félix Suarez slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Cerna got free with Enrique Coreas in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th minute Manuel Meza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Coreas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 93 in the game by Felipe Cerna from a close distance when the talented Enrique Coreas managed to make a qualified save. Congresbury's players were relieved. After having played for 94 minutes, Félix Suarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SantaAna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Félix Suarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th match minute, Congresbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Muñoz to maneuver through the defense. After 97 minutes of play, SantaAna's Felipe Cerna made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Coreas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Congresbury fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SantaAna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
