A collision led to Club Atlético Tejutepeque getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Edwin Cetino hit a great ball. In the 8th minute Emerson Sosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Coreas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Coreas came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Tejutepeque's Edwin Cetino. But to his dismay, Edwin Cetino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Congresbury's Enrique Coreas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Hurtado in the 18th minute of play. Enrique Coreas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Tobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efren Villarreal hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 38thth minute of the game Oswaldo Noyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Tejutepeque's Ivan Rivero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enrique Coreas came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Tejutepeque's Angel Hurtado. But to his dismay, Angel Hurtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 45 minutes, Eliseo Guerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Congresbury and the Club Atlético Tejutepeque players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Congresbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Guerra to maneuver through the defense. The Congresbury players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atlético Tejutepeque were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roberto Ramirez to make the kick off. Enrique Coreas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Ramirez in the 53rd minute of the match. Congresbury's Enrique Coreas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Congresbury from getting a goal against them. Raúl Sandoval was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Congresbury! In the 61st minute of the game, Club Atlético Tejutepeque got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Eliseo Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Rivero having to interfere. Ivan Rivero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Noyola in the 66th minute of the match. Emerson Sosa took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Coreas. Enrique Coreas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Enrique Coreas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Congresbury's Enrique Coreas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Ramirez in the 92nd minute of play. Enrique Coreas was a little too slow when Roberto Ramirez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-8.
